Burning Videos to DVD – Playable in Any Standard DVD Player

August 14, 2008

if you have any questions or requests for tutorials, post a comment or pm me.

Additional Information:

When you open your video in DeVeDe, press “Adjust disk usage” no matter what percent of the disk your video is using, this will ensure you get the best quality, while still fitting your video onto the disk.

DVDs and CDs should bother be playable in any DVD player, but remember, if you’re making a CD video – The video MUST be under 80 minutes or this will not work in DVD players!

In DeVeDe under the menu options you can select your own menu background, but then must be in png format, you can open your images in paint and file>save as and then select png to achieve this.

August 6, 2008

If you have any questions or requests for tutorials, post a comment or pm me.

Additional Information:

Don’t mess around in your BIOS unless you know what you’re doing!!

Change your boot order back to your hard drive as the first device when you’re done booting from a disk.

You can also boot from floppys or thumb drives, just put what ever device you want ahead of your hard drive.

This is most commonly done for installing a OS.

In case it wasn’t clear, you can’t install a operating system like this, I was just using the iso for the examples, but this works fine for games and applications.

Additional Information:
You can use ImgBurn to burn the following images as well BIN, CUE, DI, DVD, GI, IMG, ISO, MDS, NRG and PDI

If your .iso (or other image file) is larger then 650MB I would suggest you use a DVD with a 4.7GB limit on it, and if your image is yet larger then that, then try a dual layer dvd that can do up to 9GB
